Hope has three times received the American Dance Festival's Young Tuition Scholarship. She attended Howard University and while she was in Washington, DC, she danced with Lloyd Whitmore's New World Dance Company. Hope was a student and intern at The Ailey School. She was assistant to Talley Beatty and member of Complexions. Hope was a member of Philadanco and got the "New York Dance and Performance Bessie Award. In 2005, choreographed Hope "Acceptance In Surrender" in collaboration with Abdur-Rahim Jackson and Matthew Rushing of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Most recently she choreographed "Go In Grace" with award-winning singing group "Sweet Honey In The Rock" for the company's 50th anniversary. Hope has danced at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater since 2000.
